Our brick and mortar clinic located in Oakview Commons in Holly Springs, NC is currently being built! About Us
Meet Dr. Sara Roberts, PT, DPT

Dr. Sara Roberts, PT, DPT, cert DN is the owner of Carolina Elite Physical Therapy. She has been a PT for 19 years and has spent her career in outpatient PT clinics. Dr. Sara Roberts is certified in dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation and has extensive training in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), kinesiotaping as well as pelvic floor physical therapy through Herman & Wallace.

Sara graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2004 with a B.S. in Psychology and Elon University in 2007 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
​
Sara was a gymnast from age 8 to 21 and offers a unique speciality of treating gymnasts for injury recovery, injury prevention and technique. In addition, Sara is passionate about working with people of all ages with the goal of meeting them where they are and helping them reach their goals.

Sara is married to her husband, Paul and together they have 2 children. The whole family loves cheering on the Tar Heels.

Meet Dr. Lindsay Hren, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Dr. Lindsay Hren is a dedicated physical therapist with four years of experience treating patients in both outpatient orthopedic and aquatic settings. She is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and is certified in dry needling.
Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from North Carolina State University in 2019 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UNC–Chapel Hill in 2022. She went on to complete UNC’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency in 2023, further advancing her expertise in orthopedic care.
Originally from Colorado, Lindsay moved to North Carolina to compete as a Division I swimmer at NC State University. Since then, she has made the Triangle her home and enjoys exploring the area and beyond with her husband, Derek.
Lindsay has a special interest in working with swimmers but enjoys treating a wide variety of patients across all ages and functional levels. She is passionate about helping each individual achieve their personal goals and return to the activities they love.
